Hi there! My name is Fatima Zahrah Rashid and I am a graduate of the York/Sheridan Joint Specialized Honours Program in Design (YSDN). 

I love all aspects of design and I would like to have a chance to get to experiment with as many different mediums and in as many different design fields as possible. I approach design in a very multi-disciplinary way. 

Experimentation, experimentation, experimentation, I love it. I love getting my hands dirty and just creating. Book binding, laser cutting, vinyl printing & cutting, cool paper folds, cool paper, filming, lighting things (maybe on fire), green screen-ing, I could go on and on. There are so many non-screen aspects of design that people often forget, but I thrive in. I believe these aspects make for a well rounded designer, a goal that I strive towards everyday.

In addition to design, my community is very important to me. I am an active volunteer and hope to one day be able to fuse my passions of design and community to be able to help those around me.
